We are thrilled to announce that we will be seeing you in Europe in March 2024! We were invited by the great Skálmöld and will be joined by Atavistia on this tour.
If you’ve been journeying with Spires, then you may know our song “Ghost of Yesterday” already. Now we are pleased and proud to announce it officially as the first single off our new live album, all recorded at PPUSA in 2022!
ProgPower USA is a very special festival for us as a band, and has been for quite some years. The story goes that back in 2017, some of us were attending the festival as fans, and during the first day of performances, we received word from the promoters that there had been an unfortunate last-minute cancellation and that since half of us were already there, Seven Spires would be a great emergency replacement. The catch was: we only had a couple of hours to decide and make all of the necessary arrangements for a performance taking place in 48 hours!
After many frantic phone calls, logistical planning, and a lot of packing, the rest of the band, their instruments, our stage scrims, and all of the merch they could carry were on their way to Atlanta, while those already on the ground had to track down instruments and some gear to use, as none of us thought we’d be performing that weekend.
With much help and support from Glenn, Milton, and all of the rest of the always fantastic crew for the festival, the show went fantastically, and we instantly felt a very special bond with the PPUSA crowd, who welcomed us with open arms despite the last-minute change of schedule.
Fast forward to now, and we’re beyond thrilled to have been invited back to Center Stage (this time with some more heads-up) and to have been able to revel in that special exchange of shared love for metal music once again. It was also an unexpected bonus to have been able to have the night recorded, and we’re so thrilled for anyone, anywhere to be able to relive that night over and over again to their hearts’ content!
The entire “Live at ProgPower USA XXI” album is available for pre-order now, and “Ghost of Yesterday” is available on all major streaming platforms! Thank you to everyone sharing this amazing news with us, and look forward to more updates in the near future!

“SEVEN SPIRES ANNOUNCES THIRD ALBUM
GODS OF DEBAUCHERY COMING SEPTEMBER 10, 2021 VIA FRONTIERS MUSIC SRL
FIRST SINGLE & VIDEO, THE TITLE TRACK, OUT TODAY
Coming off their critically praised sophomore album, "Emerald Seas", Seven Spires are set to return with their third, and by far, most ambitious album to date, "Gods Of Debauchery" on September 10, 2021. Today, fans can get their first listen to new music with the release of the single and video for the title track.
"Gods Of Debauchery" offers an incredible feast of music styles within the broad tent of heavy metal. From symphonic to progressive to black to death metal influences, coupled with emotional ballads, this record is an exquisite sonic and lyrical journey for the discerning metalhead. This band is the present and the future of the genre and continues Frontiers' tradition of identifying and signing the most promising young talents.
After the release of "Emerald Seas" in February of 2020, the band had multiple amazing support slots lined up to promote the record on the road. They were geared up and in fighting form, ready to bring their music to the masses and show the world what they are all about. Plans were quickly changed weeks after the album's release due to the coronavirus pandemic though and soon it became obvious that touring would be ground to a halt for a while. So, the band took the opportunity to commence work on their follow-up album, which wound up becoming the mammoth 70+ minute masterpiece that is "Gods Of Debauchery". This album, epic in scope and reach, shows progression well beyond their years.

2. Gods Of Debauchery

Don’t know what else to say, except for thanks a lot for supporting us since the beginning. :)
Pete made a playthrough for "The Cursed Muse"!

A note from Pete: "I typically like to do playthrough videos as the 'live version' of our songs, so you may notice that some of the fills are different than on the studio version! This highlights the difference between what suits the recording itself, and what makes a great live performance. I hope you enjoy!"
Our brand new single, “The Cursed Muse”, is out today!

"The Cursed Muse” is the reintroduction of our exhausted hero from the previous two albums. Haunted by demons of the past, this sea-captain-turned-psychopomp contemplates their future: a lonesome eternity riddled with regret, resentment, and the crushing belief that they do not deserve happiness.
From our label Frontiers Music srl:
The single serves as an appetizer for the forthcoming epic new studio album from the band, due this fall. More details on that forthcoming in the weeks ahead.
Seven Spires is an American metal quartet specializing in melancholic tales and tenebrous grandeur. Part bittersweet melodic metal anthems, part apocalyptic melodic death and black metal, and part Romantic Classical poets, they are storytellers who draw from across the traditional spectrum of metal and beyond to weave tragedies of demons, death, love, and the peculiarities of human condition. The band met while studying at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, so we need not spend much time going on about their musical capabilities, but needless to say, the band’s musicianship is in keeping with the metal tradition of tireless work to be the best at your craft.
The band’s sophomore album, “Emerald Seas", released in February 2020, was a highly emotional, dark, and theatrical listening experience. The band, as with their debut, collaborated with Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Kamelot, Epica, etc), who mixed and mastered the album.

Our tour with Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum was cancelled after just one show in Philadelphia. We lost significant band funds, personal investments, and the income we were counting on earning from this tour, which were all supposed to go towards covering the upfront costs of our next tour in August with Amaranthe and Battle Beast.
We're trying our best to move forward from this loss and keep as positive of a mindset as possible, which means staying in touch with our fans and preparing for our next tour.
Since we can't come to your city and play for you due to travel bans and restrictions on large gatherings, we'll spend the next months working as hard as we can to bring as much high quality content to you as we can. This includes live streams, playthrough videos, live singthroughs, perhaps even some lessons or tutorials for our songs, and anything else you might suggest!
We hope you'll consider helping us move forward by sending a tip or donation to our Tour Cancellation Fund here :)
These tips and donations will go directly towards our bottom line, which will help fund tour transportation, merch printing, etc.
Thank you so much for supporting us, buying our merch, and spreading the word about our new album, "Emerald Seas".
If you haven't picked up your copy yet, it's available on all major streaming platforms, as well as here:
